Game stores plus the late-night diners, cafes, and 24 hour spots your group actually uses. Every venue knows its hours, so the open-late filter can tell you what is still open at midnight, not just what exists on a map.

Privacy-first discovery

Find nearby players for your game, format, and skill level. Strictly opt-in: nobody appears unless they turn visibility on, and it is off by default. Distance shows only as buckets like "about 3 mi", never coordinates, never a pin on a map.

An app that helps strangers meet in person has to take privacy seriously. Gatherings does, by construction:

  • Your exact coordinates never leave the server. Other players only ever see a distance bucket like "about 3 mi", computed from a deliberately imprecise location.
  • Player discovery is opt-in and off by default. Turn it off and you disappear from results.
  • No ads, no data sale, no third-party tracking SDKs.
  • 18 and older only.
  • Delete your account from inside the app, any time.
